Environmental Week was first organized in April 2018.

The purpose of Environmental Week is, among other things, to highlight the environment and the challenges that exist and those that will arise in the future.

The initiative is a collaboration between Tvøroyrar Municipality, Tvøroyrar School, sports and interest associations, and the local community. This means a combination of concrete clean-up activities around the town, presentations/lectures on environmental policy topics, as well as social events with music and food.
