Froðbiar Sóknar Róðrarfelag (FSR) has now been provided with a new, modern clubhouse in Tvøroyri. The new building offers the club permanent and functional facilities for both competitive rowing and other water-based activities, bringing boat storage, training facilities, and social spaces together in one location directly by the fjord.
The clubhouse has been constructed as a contemporary watersports facility that supports not only traditional Faroese rowing but also activities such as kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and year-round sea bathing. In this way, the building strengthens both the sporting environment and the social community surrounding rowing and watersports in the town.
The project has been financed by Tvøroyrar Municipality, with partial support from the Local and Construction Fund (LOA), and represents a significant boost for FSR as well as for sports and recreational life in Tvøroyri in general.
